You've stumbled on the web presence of Channing (CJ) Verbeck, Jr, aspiring economist. I graduated from Pomona College in 2010, and worked as a research assistant to Professors Matthew Gentzkow and Jesse Shapiro at the University of Chicago Becker Friedman Institute. I'm currently a PhD student at Princeton University, and my research interests include industrial organization and international trade.
I recently had a paper, Symmetric Class 0 subgraphs of complete graphs, published as a DIMACS Technical Report. This grew out of my senior thesis at Pomona College and the 2009 DIMACS/DIMATIA REU, and is joint work with Vin de Silva and Eugene Fiorini. We plan to submit it to a peer-reviewed journal in the coming months.
